Well Assurance Review

Well Assurance Review is a process whereby the risks of drilling a well are assessed based on the drilling programme and drilling rig specifications. Stuart Wright uses its key planning tool, Enterprise Process Centre (EPC), to generate a specific process to manage Well Assurance Projects.

Our reviews of the wells are based on our experience of good current practice in Well Design, rig selection, crew training and HPHT Well construction.

A typical Well Assurance Review consists of the following components:

  • Offset Well Review
  • Pressure Boundaries
  • Casing Design Review
  • Kick Tolerance Calculations
  • Risk Analysis
  • Rig Modifications
  • HPHT Procedures
  • HPHT Well Test QA/QC
