Aims
At the end of the course attendees should be able to:
- connect the basic concepts of Geology and Geophysics related with reservoirs
- understand the fundamentals of fluid flow in porous media
- understand how reservoirs are characterized by fluid type and drive mechanisms
- know how to define and estimate rock and fluid properties (as a vital part of reservoir characterization)
- be able to estimate oil and gas in place and predict recovery
- be familiar with the main concepts related with well performance, damage and stimulation
