Presentation of SW WAiT© tool to the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) on 1st November 2011

Stuart Wright's Managing & Technical Director, Colin Stuart, was invited to present the WAiT© tool at the PSA in Norway, in October 2011.

The two hour presentation was well received by a 20-strong audience of management and operations personnel within PSA . Representatives of the PSA felt this was the" best representation they had seen of WI issues", and were encouraged that the methodology had been developed.

About WAiT©: WAiT© is part of SW's suite of intelligent-risk solutions. It is a comprehensive review platform used to drive a "forensic" assessment of the candidate well's integrity status and leads the users towards an identification of the major incident risks posed by a specific well.

This in turn leads the user into a BOWTIEXP methodolgy of risk assessment having established the indisputable facts prior to the RA process thereby saving valuable time and ensuring the risk assessment is focused on solution generating.
